ANIMAL LAW DECREE OF JUNE 19, 2025: 5 RULES TRANSFORMING CANINE AND FELINE BREEDING

2. End of exploitation, limitation of cesarean sections:
Strong measures are being taken to protect breeding animals from repeated surgical procedures.
_ New rule: It is now prohibited to breed a female dog or cat that has undergone three cesarean sections during its lifetime.
_ Objective: To put an end to the abusive exploitation of breeding animals whose health is compromised by excessively frequent surgeries.
3. Sterilization of retired breeding animals:
The transfer of retired breeding animals is strictly regulated to prevent their illegal reuse.

4. Systematic presentation of the mother for adoption:
