Like every year, France breaks the sad record in Europe for animal abandonments, what a shame!

Whether mainly dogs or cats, individuals throughout France cowardly abandon their pets and most of the time for futile reasons such as going on vacation or even when moving. 

In France, we now arrive at a sickening statistic: an animal is abandoned every 2 minutes. How can you abandon a dog or a cat that represents affection, loyalty and purity? What is the government doing to stop this horrible phenomenon which reproduces and develops year after year? 

All abuse and abandonment of animals should automatically generate prison time for the perpetrators with a very high fine of €5,000 minimum in order to allow a SPA or a serious association to take charge of the beaten or abandoned animal and if possible, allow you to find a new adoptive family concerned about animal welfare.
